Christmas Slackers

Merry Christmas everyone! Yeah, we're big slackers this year... no cards... ugh. We have been so busy! Not a white Christmas here... in fact, it's so nice that I am wearing flip-flops!

We went up to my parent's house in Conifer for Christmas. My sister and her boyfriend were there and my aunt, uncle & cousin also came up. We had fun, good food, and a great gift exchange.

One of the gifts we got was a new kitchen faucet! Today I decided to install it while Max was at work. I totally knew I could do it so that's why I didn't hesitate at all. Well, it took me 4 hours to get the old faucet off the sink! The stuff was so rusted and stuck under the sink, it really took all my muscles and cuss words to get it off. Once I finally got the old faucet off, installing the new faucet was easy! See?

Today Max's mom drove over from Utah with Mark, Jessie & the kids. Max's mom is staying with us - so we made our guestroom up all nice for her. We're excited to have the space for someone to stay with us! Max's sister will also be staying with us, so we have our other spare room also outfitted for her.

We hope everyone had a great holiday & wish the best for everyone in the new year.
