In Addition To...

Chasing out rabbits, and saving voles, yesterday we did a couple of other things around the house that were long overdue! We installed a light in the dining room, as the previous owners took the existing light. It was in the contract that the light was not included, must have been sentimental, because it was NOT great or "us" at all!

When Johnny, my nail technician, came to the house warming party he noticed that we did not have a light in the dining room, and just had wires hanging out of the hole in the ceiling. Immediately he offered to give us an extra light he had purchased for his house, but did not end up using. We of course accepted the offer and here is the end result:

Many thanks to Johnny and his thoughtful gift! :) This light is exactly like something we would have purchased ourselves.

Then, as a direct result of having to clean up all the bunny poo in the garage, we ended up moving most of the stuff that was in the garage down to the basement. So yesterday we also accomplished the goal of actually using our two car garage as a two car garage! Max was really happy!

Today we have not done anything around the house, because we're pretty tired from everything that we did yesterday! Slowly, but surely we will get stuff unpacked and our house will be box-free!
